My favorite YA series is a tough one between Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas or Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. My fave adult and series in general is Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson. The cover make look kinda cheesy but IT'S SO GOOD.

My favorite recent contemporary YA is The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon. It's so beautiful! I'm also a big fan of Jeff Zentner's Goodbye Days and everything Carrie Mesrobian writes.

I'm not sure if this counts as Contemporary, but I just recently finished "The Things We Wish Were True" by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen. It was just recently published and oooooh my gosh it's one of the best books I've read in a while!!
